(Marie Jones Photo) Angela Dawn sinks The A ngela Dawn, a scallop dragger belonging to Roscoe Archer of Pembroke, sank Thursday, March 15, while moored at the Eastport Breakwater. Archer was in Lincoln at the time and received an early morning call that the boat was sinking. His plans had called for. him to return to Eastport later that day to sell the boat to a purchaser from Fort Kent. He thinks the sale is still possible, and good-naturedly suggested that maybe the buyer is going to scallop on the Alia- gash. Archer plans to purchase another by Marie Jones boat and scallop again. 'Tve gone down before and come back up". Archer praised Basil Pottle, Dickie Critchley, Dana Graffam, Horace Small and Jackie Hicks at the Eastport Break- water who hauled his boat up to safe ground. The boat is now back at the slip. Port of Eastport Eastport & Lubec VESSELS ENTERING Sunrise & Sunset EASTPORT, MAINE Lat 44 55' N.
