Mrs. Emerson Pea Picking Bird A resident of Campobello, who has a lovely vegetable garden, also notes the presence of a unique bird on his premises. This bird tears open the pea pods, eats the peas, but leaves the pod on the vine - the pod grows back together, but he doesn't say if it developes more peas or not. We can't decide which is more unique the bird or the pea pods--or his story! Any- way, he claims to have the only pea-pick- ing bird on Campobello.
