Re- sponding to the call were BM2 Marshall Eberhart, MK3 Marc Hall, MK3 Jim Cheney and SABrad Kelleigh aboard the Cost Guard 44351. The men "overhaul- ed" the boat after the fire was extinguish- ed and towed it to Deep Cove where it was removed from the water. The Bilderdyk, which carries a crew of 27, including Dutch officers and Span- ish sailors, h&d traveled up the east coast ! from New Orleans. The wives of the first officer and engineer were aboard hip and took a quick walking tour of Eastport while the ship was being loaded. Activity at the Eastport breakwater last wee was on two shifts. Construction activity on the breakwater extension went on during the day and the barges were loaded at the breakwater at night so as not to interfere with construction work.
